Matt Staab, CSFS

As chief growth officer at Innovative Rx Strategies, Matt leads the Business Development team and executes new strategic initiatives. He has been with the company since 2016, when he served as the Business Development Lead and then director of Business Development.

Matt has worked with self-funded employers, third-party administrators and brokers to create an introductory experience for new clients that is smooth, collaborative and exciting. He has much experience handling renegotiations. Matt has a strong sense of a company’s marketing and sales needs — he gained much of this knowledge and experience by working with developing startups.

Matt is a wonderful listener and is sure to take the time to understand the needs and goals of his clients. He is proud to work for Innovative Rx Strategies, where they can be flexible in their process to customize each service to the specific needs of the customer.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Matt continues to be an active alumnus and mentor for the students of the University of Chicago and is an alumni committee member of the Institute of Politics at the University.

Matt is a Certified Self-Funding Specialist through the Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA). He is also a member of HCAA and the Self-Insurance Institute of America. Matt is very active in his community and is an investor for Gaingels, the Leading Venture Investment Syndicate representing the LGBTQ community and its allies.
