As a principal and chief operating officer, Jim partners with Innovative’s team of pharmacy benefit experts to uncover cost savings and risk reduction opportunities while maximizing the value of an employer’s pharmacy benefits.

His primary responsibility is ensuring Innovative remains an innovative, disruptive leader in the pharmacy benefits and high-cost medical drugs marketplace. As the creator of the Kinetiq Health Pharmacy Benefits Consulting solution at Apex Benefits and as a leader in Innovative Rx Strategies national consulting practice, Jim is deeply invested in ensuring affordable access to prescription medications.

Jim has over 30 years of health care experience, as an executive with Eli Lilly and Company, at Apex Benefits and with Innovative. His experience navigating the relationship between pharmaceutical manufacturers, health insurers and pharmacy benefit managers brings unique perspectives on drug costs and creates opportunities for employers to reduce costs and enhance their pharmacy benefit. He has extensive experience in health care data & analytics, process improvement, organizational design, human resource support, sales and marketing, communications and strategic planning which he applies in service to all Innovative Rx clients.
